If ‘look’ matters more than ‘sound’

If you’re looking to lose the look of the huge OEM exhaust, the Coffman’s Shorty is a great choice. It’s no louder than stock OEM exhaust as delivered but looks so much sleeker and ‘club rider’ style. It’s worth it for that alone—but if you want it louder, there’s always baffles and/or packing material that can be removed to open it up. I got the ‘black out’ version and it looks great.

Ditch the factory suitcase AKA exhaust

Love my Rebel 1100 DCT but the giant and ugly (IMO) exhaust always bugged me.

Did a lot of research and went with the Coffman’s CLASSIC Shorty Exhaust.

Installation was super simple and straightforward. Kept the extra baffle inside as delivered, not looking to attract attention from the local police.

Sound is pretty fantastic, more throaty but not offensive. Pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

Great product and looking forward to more time in the saddle with the new shorty.

I like the exhaust. The only thing I would switch is the clamp. I couldn’t get it tight enough and my exhaust still rattled around. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a different one.

Easy to handle, looking good, sound good.
Just what i wanted to have, shipping to Germany was good and uncomplicated.
Coffman's customer Service was also very helpful with my order and my questions.

  • The Classic Rebel 1100 exhaust has our custom shorty look with adaptability to all saddle bags. It includes our unique baffling set up utilizing a large perforated core with packing as well as our unique removable sound suppressor. This system creates a very healthy growl to your bike. It is ceramic coated black and includes a billet aluminum tip that you can order with ceramic black coating or polished. They are manufactured from 304 stainless right here at our plant in Ukiah, CA.
  • Includes a large perforated core encompassed by replaceable packing assisting in heat management and sound suppression.
  • All pipes are manufactured from 304 stainless steel tubing that is CNC machined, mandrel bent then tig welded to perfection.
  • This tip can be rotated to suit your desired appearance.
