Honestly, Great!

It was quite spendy so I was hesitant but I didn’t want a straight pipe with a tip like other companies offer, I was interested in the baffling this offered. I went on a limb and purchased it and honestly, it’s great! It sounds so good, throaty, pretty mean but isn’t loud. It sounds wonderful cruising around 45 and slower and around 55+ you can’t hear it much if any over the wind noise so it’s sure not to bother you on long trips! I would definitely buy again. Plus the shipping was SO fast!

Good build quality and love the sound

I installed this on my Honda CTX700 as the used bike I purchased came with a shorty pipe (no baffles). Fit is excellent and looks good on the bike. The exhaust sound is so much better than the open shorty pipe.

My Second Coffman Shorty

I bought a Coffman Shorty for my 2016 Honda CTX700. I had the bike about 6 weeks, then I was in a crash that totaled the bike. Thankfully, I was OK with just the usual bruises and abrasions. I didn't want things to stop, so I found and bought a 2014 CTX700 - an exact replacement just 2 years older. The three things I did first was to change out the headlight for an LED, install a center stand, and replace the stock muffler with another Coffman Shorty.

  • Preinstalled removable CNC machined db-killer (baffle) retained inside the tip through the highest quality high-temp silicone O-Ring, spacer, and snap-ring.
  • Includes a large perforated core encompassed by replaceable packing assisting in heat management and sound suppression.
  • All pipes are manufactured from 304 stainless steel tubing that is CNC machined, mandrel bent then tig welded to perfection.
