Coffman's Honda Rebel 500 CMX500 THUNDER Exhaust (2017-2025)
I was looking for a louder exhaust compared to the stock that would draw just enough attention and reinforce my safety. I don’t think enough riders (especially new, younger riders) consider the best way to increase cyclist safety is by always upgrading the software in your head, on every single ride. So, I didn’t buy this exhaust with the sole intent thinking that it will be “safer” for me. I love the way it sounds and the design! It looks like what should’ve been on the bike from the factory in my opinion. Though I don’t know the costs involved in manufacturing it, it feels overpriced however. It doesn’t feel “cheap,” but with the size of it alone compared to other beefier exhausts that cost about the same, it seems on the expensive side. But, overall a definite upgrade to the stock.
I’m really liking the way the exhaust looks and sounds compared to the OEM version on my Honda Rebel 500 ABS SE. It was very easy to install and looking great in about 10 minutes. I would highly recommend the product.

- Preinstalled removable CNC machined db-killer (baffle) retained inside the tip through the highest quality high-temp silicone O-Ring, spacer, and snap-ring.
- Includes a large perforated core encompassed by replaceable packing assisting in heat management and sound suppression.
- All pipes are manufactured from 304 stainless steel tubing that is CNC machined, mandrel bent then tig welded to perfection.
- Designed to fit stock applications to wide tired to stretched swing arm applications. They then have a machined angled cut billet aluminum tip anodized with an array of colors ranging from ceramic red, black, gold or blue. Polished aluminum is also available on the tip.
